Hello, I’m Dr. Brett Lopez, and I’m proud to say I’m the new owner of Alcan Family Dental. I bring 15 years of dental experience, and I received my Dental degree from Temple University dental school, graduating in 2008 with my undergrad in Biology at Utah valley university.

The name Alcan has personal meaning to me as I drove the Alcan (Alaskan/Canadian) highway from Colorado when I moved my family back to Alaska; the same goes for many of you adventurous-spirited Alaskans! Listening to and addressing any concerns patients have about their dental health with accurate, honest solutions is my goal. I will provide my patients with the best experience they can receive here at Alcan Family Dental.

My wife Angie and our 4 children love to enjoy all Alaska has to offer. We love fishing, mountain biking, hunting, snowboarding, and skiing in our beautiful state and enjoying its magnificent splendor.

Dr Cody Grzybowski

Dentist

Dr. Cody Grzybowski (“Dr. Cody”) was born and raised just outside of Chicago in the town of Munster, Indiana. Dentistry was always present in his life as his mother is a practicing hygienist, and his grandfather is a retired dentist. While completing his undergraduate degree at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN, Dr. Cody worked in several general and pediatric dental offices and found his passion for the dental field. Soon after graduation from Wabash, he matriculated into the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he met his wife, Dr. Hayden DePrez. In dental school, he was involved in extracurricular activities such as the Give Kids A Smile program, mentoring and tutoring programs, and worked as a teaching assistant. He graduated with distinctive honors and as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.

Since then, Dr. Cody has worked with both the general and pediatric populations in private practice and enjoys working in many disciplines of the dental field. “Ultimately, my number one goal is to provide accessible, patient-centered care at the highest quality,” says Dr. Cody. “I look forward to working in the community and treating patients of all ages with gentle, compassionate, and ethical care.”
